NEW YORK, NY - Following reports this morning that TikTok has commissioned its first original musical, set to stream live from a theater in New York City, a number of individuals breathed a collective sigh of relief that the many people leaving angry comments were not alive when the talkies were introduced over a period from 1926-1930.
“Thank goodness they didn’t have to endure any other medium changes,” noted local man Stephen Bertans, assuming those people have never watched a show or film on streaming or ordered delivery through an app. “It must be really difficult to face changes to the way something you love is produced, even if that thing is not actually being changed at all.”
At press time, angry fans noted that the performance ruins the “progression” of live theatre, while eating a large stone of raw food, as they refuse to utilize the invention of fire.
